TrackPlan Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 26, 2026

TrackPlan (“the app”) is a training companion for track & field athletes and coaches, published by 9Four Labs. This policy describes what information the app handles and how.

The short version

Everything you create in TrackPlan stays on your device, with one exception: when you ask the app to generate a training week, the goal you type is sent to our server to produce the plan. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no ads.

AI plan generation

When you tap Generate on the “Generate a week” screen, the training goal you typed is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a server we run, which forwards it to Anthropic’s Claude API to write the week of workouts.

Location

TrackPlan uses your device’s GPS only while the app is open and only after you tap “Start tracking” on the Distance screen. Location readings are used on-device to compute the distance you cover, shown in meters.

Data you create

Workout plans and saved timer results are stored locally on your device using the operating system’s app storage. They are not transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes this data.

What we don’t do

Children

TrackPlan does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. All data stays on the device except as described above.

Future features

If a future version adds optional social features (accounts, following other athletes), that version will ship with an updated policy explaining exactly what is collected — before any data leaves your device.

Changes

We’ll update this page and the effective date when the policy changes.
